Modified Aircraft Operations
You carry a responsibility for something that needs to be accomplished.
It would be our honor to help you see it through.

What the work has produced.
As of 2026.
The fleet, the sensors, the systems.
01
Our current fleet
We own and operate the King Air family (90 / 200 / 350), the Dash 8 family (100 / 200 / 300), the Gulfstream GIV, and the Boeing 737. We also operate the Twin Otter and Global 6000 under GOCO arrangements.

Sensors we’ve flown
100+ sensor types flown across defense, civil, scientific, and research programs. EO/IR, SAR, LIDAR, hyperspectral, magnetometers, communications intelligence, atmospheric sampling, and many more. We do not own sensors. Our customers do.
See sensor portfolio →03
Systems we’ve built
150+ spray systems built since 1944. 50+ non-spray dispersal systems since 1970, beginning with the first successful DC-3 water dump unit. For oil spill response, our Boeing 737-500 runs an FAA-STCed dispersal system — the only certified system of its kind operating in the world.

When the lifecycle is the right fit
The full lifecycle, carried by one organization.
When the same organization carries your platform through every stage — overhaul, modification, integration, flight, sustainment — knowledge of your platform and your mission compounds across years of work. No vendor handoffs. No interface losses. The relationship deepens as the work continues.
When a single activity is the right fit
Engage us for any single activity.
Buy any one of our five activities — Overhaul, Modify, Integrate, Fly, or Maintain — on the contract structure that matches the work. Time and materials for engineering. Flight-hour rates for operations. Discrete pricing for discrete services. Each activity stands on its own.
Two uses. Five activities.
Use 01 — Data Collection: Sensors, surveys, surveillance, monitoring — flown on platforms built and operated for the work.
Use 02 — Dispersal: Spray systems, dispersal systems, aerial application of any payload. Three generations of building these systems in-house.
The five activities are each priced and contracted on the structure that matches the work. Engaged individually, or assembled across the full lifecycle of your platform and mission.
Find your mission.
Data Collection
ISR
Intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance platforms for defense and intelligence customers.
Learn more →Maritime Patrol
Long-endurance airborne surveillance over water, for sovereign and multinational customers.
Learn more →Airborne Data Acquisition
Custom sensor integration and operations for scientific, geophysical, atmospheric, and environmental programs. Long-duration platforms, cabin-class instrument bays, and the operational discipline a multi-week campaign requires.
Learn more →Fire Management
Aircraft, modifications, and operations supporting fire agencies: fuel surveys, lightning strike prevention, fire surveillance, and lead plane coordination. We do not operate fire retardant tankers.
Learn more →Dispersal
Aerial Application
Aerial dispersal for agriculture, oral rabies vaccine, and emerging applications. The original capability of the enterprise.
Learn more →Sterile Insect Technique
Continuous SIT operations since 1992, across 10+ countries. The longest-running such program in continuous service.
Learn more →Oil Spill Response
Boeing 737-500 platforms operating an FAA-STCed dispersal system. As of today, the only certified system of its kind in the world.
Learn more →By market.
Defense
Special-mission platforms and operations for defense customers worldwide. In the U.S., our work has served the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and SOCOM. Internationally, we serve allied air forces and sovereign customers. Ownership models include COCO, COCO-to-GOCO, and GOCO.
Defense portfolio →Civil
Special-mission platforms and operations for civil agencies worldwide. In the U.S., our work has served USDA, Interior, Commerce, and NASA. Missions include Aerial Application, Sterile Insect Technique, Fire Management, Oil Spill Response, and Airborne Data Acquisition.
Civil portfolio →Flight Test
You’ve worked hard to bring something to the point where it needs to fly. It would be our honor to help you fly it. Our customers include national labs, FFRDCs, UARCs, service labs, and university research programs.
Flight test portfolio →By activity.
